Meet Colleen
-
Colleen Warmingham is a professional organizer, workshop facilitator,
and the owner of Space Inventors. She believes anyone can learn to be organized! In
fact, when working with a client, Colleen focuses just as much on teaching
as she does on organizing.
In addition to working one-on-one with clients, Colleen conducts workshops
focusing on finding practical ways to overcome common obstacles to getting
organized. Attendees leave her workshops energized and confident in working
with their unique talents.
Colleen graduated from Moravian College with a B.A. in History. She finds that studying history was the perfect foundation for organizing. After all, history teaches us to understand cause and effect in our lives; a critical step in understanding how we relate to our space and how our space affects how we work and feel. After college, Colleen worked as a consultant, instructor, project manager, and even tour guide before launching Space Inventors.
Colleen championed eco- and people-friendly organizing at the 2006 conference of the National Association of Professional Organizers in Boston. Her work in gathering low-impact organizers together has forged such initiatives as the creation of a national online group for simple and sustainable organizing techniques and adding low-impact organizing to the national conference agenda.
Today, Colleen serves as the Professional Development Director for the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO). She considers simple and sustainable values to be important ethical considerations when working with clients and administering her business.
